What are the skill level ratings?
The tournament uses standard pickleball skill ratings from 3.0 for beginners up to 4.0+ for advanced players. Here is a quick guide:
- 3.0 – Just starting to play competitively
- 3.5 – Has basic strokes and strategy
- 3.6-4.0 – Experienced competitive player
- 4.0+ – Advanced skills and athletics

What medals/prizes can I win?
The top 3 point earning teams in each skill division will receive championship medals and gift cards to the Life Time pro shop. Teams must play a minimum 6 events to qualify.
Are there food/drinks included?
Your registration includes voucher tickets that can be redeemed for smoothies, supplements, and recovery products in the Life Time Athletic nutrition bar area. The on-site LifeCafe also offers delicious smoothies, meals, snacks and more for athlete fueling and fan enjoyment
What type of balls will be used?
Franklin X-40 outdoor balls will be provided for all tournament play. These are a standard durable plastic ball designed for outdoor pickleball courts but work great indoors as well.
Can I watch if I’m not playing an event?
Absolutely! All Life Time Athletic club members are encouraged to come to spectate matches. It’s free and open for members to cheer on players and enjoy exciting pickleball action all year long.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, Life Time Athletic Flower Mound offers a large parking lot adjacent to the club entrance with no fees or permits required. Handicap and player drop-off parking are also available.
